This is a personal website created for job hunting. The research group I belong to is focusing on the fascinating field of kink microstructures in layered materials. Within the group, my work involves applying differential geometry, continuum mechanics, and finite element analysis to model the formation and geometry of these microstructures. By validating and refining these models through techniques such as Electron Backscatter Diffraction (EBSD) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), I aim to establish a solid foundation for researches on the “kink strengthening” mechanism, which contributes to an emerging design principle for developing lightweight, high-strength structural materials.
